- Originally a biologist (well, I guess I still am) I now work in computing. More importantly, I am a Christian and a church leader - yep one of those loopy, hands in the air, charismatic types. As I am also a worship leader, someone once commented that I am able to argue all by myself over how long the worship times or sermon should be as well as debating creation and evolution. I believe passionately that Christians should be more engaged in the culture they live in - which partly explains this blog. The other part of the explanation is probably to do with my ego, so I would rather not dwell on it. The MrTinkles identity comes from one of my other passions...gaming. MrTinkles is the name I often use in on-line games. I always thought it would really annoy people when they were fragged by someone named after a white fluffy cat!

Yes, just as Jesus was white and of Aryan descent as the picture of him shows.
Quite. And when Mary, Joseph and Jesus fled from Herod into Egypt, good ol' BNP Jesus would have turned away these mooching asylum-seekers at the border.
One of the more frequently asked questions these days is "What Would Jesus Do?" Teens sport bracelets with the initials WWJD to remind them to ask themselves "What Would Jesus Do?" in difficult situtations. I thought I might take a few minutes to discuss "What Would Jesus Do?" in the light of current events. As part of my response, I will also address the issue of what Jesus would not do.
