Fed Up Wright Quits As BBC Footie Pundit
Poor old Ian......
Ian Wright has quit the BBC as a football pundit, saying he is fed up playing the role of a "comedy jester".
I actually thought that he played the role of "comedy jester" without any arm twisting from the BBC.
However, fair enough, if he's fed up of being portrayed as a joke figure...we can understand his desire to get out and take up a more serious role.
Former footballer Ian Wright and sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher are to host Sky One's relaunched Gladiators.
